Last Thursday there was an online poll at CFAX about who should be the next BC Liberal leader.   Here are the results

  • Rich Coleman 42 4%
  • Mike de Jong 40 4%
  • George Abbott 33 3%
  • Kevin Falcon 37 4%
  • Barry Penner 9 1%
  • Kevin Kreuger 106 10%
  • Dianne Watts 94 9%
  • Carole Taylor 207 20%
  • John Furlong 35 3%
  • Other 442 42%

Total: 1045

Most interesting is how many people voted for "other".  Next is how few people were choosing current cabinet members.    I think the Liberals need to consider what this says about their future and what is a realistic way forward.   Can the party thrive with a leader that is a current MLA?

What this says about the BC Liberals is that their time is up. I'd say the "none of the above" section is also the "never again" section
