Be an active participant in the election

The most passive role you can have in this election is to only vote.   Why not try being more active in some way?

The candidates running in this election for all the parties are doing so because they believe in making the world a better place.   They are willing to step up and put themselves in the public eye and endure a lot of shit to run.

I have met people from across the political spectrum that are decent individuals.   I have no doubt there is a candidate out there that you like and can support.   Why not actively support someone?  You can take a sign, volunteer in an office, maybe even donate a few dollars.

Our democracy works best when you are an active participant.   Politics is not an us versus them paradigm of the people versus the politicians.  We are all one and the same, we are all part of civil society.   Be an active participant.

There is not a party in this election I would waste my time on, I have never been at such a loss as to where to place my vote.

I couldn't agree with you more, BC Icon! The fashionable cynicism about politics, promoted by vote suppressors & the mainstream media will be the death of our democracy if we don't take individual responsibility and GET INVOLVED!
