The financial reports are in for the BC Patriot Party for 2011. The BC Patriot party gave away $596,552.66 in 2011 and it lost $1.063,121.70 on investments.
So who got this $596,552.66 in 2011? Can a political party just give away more than half a million dollars and not have to account what was done with it?
At the end of 2010 the party investments were worth $1,471,675.01. At the end of 2011 the party investments were worth $15,834.50. I look at that number and I can not fathom what is going on.
The party now has deficit of 1,224,062.70 compared to a surplus of $469,267.60 at the end of 2010.
The party still owes Andrew Hokhold (individual) Andrew N. Hokhold Inc (corporation) a total of $1,247,522, down slightly from $1,289,462 at the end of 2010.
There is something not right about all of this, someone has found some way to use a political party for some other benefit.
I wrote about this last week and in December.

Have you sent this story to any journalists? It could be a good scoop to push for some finance reforms.
Worthy of further investigation, I agree.
