Finances of BC political parties

Ranked by Income of the party province wide - the BC Liberals have no local associations, the NDP, Greens and Conservatives do. The Green Party has been given an extension till later this month as has one of the riding associations of the NDP.  The only ones not to file was the Advocational Party
  1. BC Liberals $9,615,625
  2. BC NDP $5,028,740.09 - I will do the NDP riding totals at a different point edit at 4:45pm: all NDP donations go through the central party.  $1,052,898.07 seems to have gone to the riding associations   
  3. BC Conservative Party - $212,797 - they had 108 contributors give more more than $250 and 2146 contributors giving less than $250.  In 2010 they had $58,190.07 in contributions.   The ridings raised a total of $53,870.83
  4. Green Party - based on past years I suspect the Green Party will have raised between $125,000 and $150,000.   They have been granted an extension will April 23rd to file
  5. BC Patriot Party $72,366.06 - $72,305.73 of this is interest forgiven on loans of $1,247,822 to the party by Andrew Hokhold and Dr Andrew N Hokhold Inc  
  6. Work Less Party $30,086.71 - $29,901 was raised from fundraising events, events that cost $18,572.60 to hold
  7. Social Credit $15,780.08 - most of this from claiming old bank accounts - I sent them some emails about the money being out there last year.
  8. Communist Party $12,532.41 
  9. BC First $6,633.22 - they had 126 contributors all under $250.  They got $728.22 from their candidate in Vancouver Point Grey
  10. Reform Party - $3876.49 - $3500 is interest forgiven on a $50,000 demand loan from Gamble Foods Ltd.  $376.13 was from unclaimed bank accounts - yes, I emailed them as well.
  11. Western Canada Concept $2415 - they had 57 contributors in 2011
  12. BC Refederation $1352.83 - they held a fundraiser that cost $1471 but only raised $351
  13. Platinum Party $1224.52

Vicki Huntingdon raised $21.451.15 - if she was a political party, she would be 7th on the list.

BC Conservative Riding Associations - a total of 45 are registered and 33 had any income.
