This is the percentage the PQ has achieved in each of their elections since the first in 1970

- 2007 28.35% - came third
- 2003 33.24%
- 1998 42.87%
- 1994 44.75%
- 1989 40.16%
- 1985 38.69%
- 1981 49.26%
- 1976 41.37%
- 1973 30.22% - came third
- 1970 23.06% - came third in popular vote and fourth in seats
A result of 33% would be a bad result for the party when compared to the six elections from 1976 to 1998. It is a decrease from the last election but they will win government with that. They may win the most seats but I really do not see them being able to win a majority, if they were to win a majority this would be unprecedented in the history of Westminster parliaments as far as I can think of.
