It is interesting to look at how the PQ has done and the implications of the First Past the Post electoral system

The percentage of the public supporting the PQ in this election is low for them, 2007 was lower and before only in their first two elections.
What have is the interesting result of the PQ losing support but gaining three seats and thereby becoming government.
31.94% for a party that is set to form government is shockingly low, if it were not for the vagaries of the electoral system this election would have been seen as a serious failure of Marois and the PQ
