Ben joined the NDP so that he could vote in the BC NDP leadership race, this means he is a current member of the federal NDP. I had not thought about this at all but he has been getting NDP mail here and I assume this will mean leadership materials soon enough. I will have to ask him to pay attention to the race and tell me what he thinks.
I do know that Ben spends more time now paying attention to politics and I do think has a lot to do with him having a personal stake in it through a party membership. Last Wednesday he talked a bit about the federal NDP having lost its leader and that they need to choose someone new.
When he expresses some opinions, I will post them here.
