The first is a very basic one from Bill Vander Zalm with his Fresh Start for BC slogan. I am not sure how well it worked given that the NDP did so much to help elect the Zalm. This was the election with the imfamous Bob Skelly press conference
The NDP ad is one attacking Vander Zalm's time as minister of education. It does not mention the name of BC NDP leader Bob Skelly at any point. It also does not say what the NDP would do. I find the selection of people in the ad interesting and I can not decide if they were good or bad ones. Also, why is the one suburban couple standing in front piles of lumber at a sawmill?
